Covenant Christian Academy offers a Christian and Classical education that builds students’ academic, spiritual, and social foundations for lives marked by leadership and service in today’s global community. A Covenant education prepares students to excel in collegiate studies and intellectual pursuits, nurtures Christian faith and character, and fosters individual gifts and abilities.
Covenant Christian Academy is seeking a full-time ESL Teacher. This role will initially include serving as the International Student Program (ISP) Coordinator as we continue to grow and strengthen our international program. Over time, as the program expands, the position is expected to evolve into a fully ESL-focused role. In the interim, this individual will serve both as a teacher for English Language Learners and as the primary point of contact for international students and host families. The position will oversee the day-to-day program for international students, foster meaningful relationships between students and host families, plan activities and orientation events, and ensure that each international student’s academic, social, and spiritual needs are met.
During the academic year, this is a full-time position. During the summer months (June–August), there is an opportunity for additional compensation through work with the Director of Admissions, including preparing for new student arrivals, securing host family placements, and coordinating orientation and travel logistics. The current international student population is small (approximately 3–5 students), allowing for a highly relational and individualized approach to both ESL instruction and program coordination.
This position reports to the Director of Admissions and works closely with the Upper School Dean of Academics and Grammar School Principal for academic support and ESL coordination.
